eBay This is a VERY RARE prop MAP OF HAZZARD COUNTY that was made for the production of 'The Dukes of Hazzard' TV show in the 1980s. This is an original production-made item that was created for the show in the 1980s, not a copy or a reprint.In September 2023, I obtained a few of these prints directly from the original prop maker in Los Angeles, and they are most likely the only ones remaining that were left over from the show.The 'Hazzard County' map can be seen in many of the episodes from the later seasons. The first version of this map that was seen in the show was a real full-color map that was altered with a sharpie to create fictional borders and place names. The color map was used in a couple of season 3 episodes. Later appearances of the map were black and white prints that were copied from that same original color prop map. This item is one of those black and white prints. Some of the maps had a Hazzard County logo/seal graphic on one corner of the back side. This map does not include that detail.The map is approximately 22 x 30 inches, and was printed on 'Strathmore Writing' watermarked paper. The edges of the map are very slightly yellowed due to age.
